[PC] I get a black screen at the start of an episode

A black screen may be due to having Steam Cloud saving enabled while playing the game. We recommend disabling Steam Cloud for the game before launching it.

To disable Steam Cloud:

1. Open your Steam Library and right-click on The Walking Dead.
2. Select Properties, then select the Updates tab.
3. Uncheck the Steam Cloud box at the bottom.
4. Click Close to save these settings.
