To resolve the black screen issue:
- Load into The Final Season.
- Go to Save Slots.
- Delete your current save.
- Start a new game.
You should be able to both import your save data and progress past the opening when you replay on a blank slot.
If the problem persists:
- Delete your in-game save again.
- Start a new game without importing your A New Frontier save.
- Complete the opening questionnaire to regenerate your backstory.
- Try switching to a different save slot to prevent automatic imports.
