If you receive this error message when launching the game, you will need to delete some, or sometimes all, of your save data.
If you wish to back up your save data before attempting this, please review Xbox Support for steps on how to back up data.
To delete save data in-game, please launch The Walking Dead, and delete the save data in Slots 2 and 3 within the game.
If deleting the save data in the save slots does not resolve the issue, delete the save data from your storage device.
To delete save data from your storage device:
- Go to Settings on your console's dashboard.
- Select System, then Storage.
- Choose the storage device that you are saving on.
- Select Games And Apps, then select The Walking Dead.
- Scroll down and delete Save Data.
